IMPROVING PARTNERSHIP, SIA COLLABORATES WITH MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL

SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) and Marriott International are collaborating in an enhanced strategic partnership recently, where this partnership, members of Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s travel program and members of KrisFlyer, SIA Group’s lifestyle rewards program, will get more opportunities to maximize their profits.

According to Dai Haoyu, Acting Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines, said that starting 13 December 2023, members who meet the requirements of both programs can adjust their status (status match) and increase their elite status more quickly.

“This expansion of cooperation is in addition to the two-way points and miles transfer benefits for members of both programs that were announced in January 2023. This allows them to convert Marriott Bonvoy points into KrisFlyer miles and vice versa,” Haoyu said.

He explained that strengthening the partnership with Marriott allows KrisFlyer members to get greater benefits, as well as enjoy more ways to earn and redeem their points and miles.

“This partnership comes at the right time, amidst high demand for international travel. “With these improvements, our members can expect better value, as well as more opportunities to collect and redeem that suit their evolving lifestyle interests,” Dai Haoyu remarked.

Meanwhile John Toomey, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Asia-Pacific Marriott International, said we are very pleased to announce the expansion of our collaboration with Singapore Airlines, providing added value to members to maximize their travel.

“They can enjoy exclusive benefits across Marriott Bonvoy’s global network of nearly 8,700 hotels and resorts, spanning more than 30 different brands. “This is an important milestone that not only marks the expansion of our global airline program, but also reaffirms our commitment to continuously improve service to our loyal customers,” he concluded.
