STARTING its work in 2024, IKEA will officially add an office building with a future feel in Alam Sutera. This renovation took place smoothly and was an important step to serve IKEA’s vision and mission and especially aims to support Indonesia’s locally made products with IKEA Bangga Produk Lokal program.
According to Raushanfikr Qhaumiy, Chief Representative Office and Business Development Manager IKEA Supply AG, said the expansion of offices at locations is also a matter of effectiveness. We always give the best to customers. Since the first IKEA opened in Alam Sutera in 2014 and now there are 7 stores and 20 pick up points and empowering local entrepreneurs.
“Through our business, we build partnerships with local producers to improve the standard of living of local people,” said Raushanfkr.
Meanwhile, Giavar Safaverdi, Supply Area Manager Southeast Asia, proudly said that despite the many challenges in 2023, IKEA’s sales results for Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, showed positive signs. Likewise, Angelica Lejonberg, Head of Trade and Promotion Sweden Embassy in Jakarta, stated that Sweden is currently developing a strategy to expand its technology and retail products to Southeast Asia, including Indonesia.
