BATIK AIR opens a round-trip route from Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, to Kuala Lumpur KLIA International Airport, in Malaysia, starting Monday (7/25).
The flight frequency will take place once a day, or seven times a week using Airbus A320 aircraft (12 business class seats and 144 economy class seats) and Boeing 737-800NG (12 business class and 156 economy class).
“The addition of the route, is expected to further facilitate the mobilization of travelers and business people directly from Indonesia to Kuala Lumpur PP,” said Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, in his official statement, Thursday (7/14) .
Danang said that the opening of this route is believed to be able to contribute as an effort to accelerate the economic recovery of the two countries, including helping to stimulate the trade, tourism and other sectors.
The following is the departure and arrival schedule for the Medan-Kuala Lumpur round-trip route:
The flight number ID-6289 departed from Medan at 10:05 WIB. Then scheduled to arrive in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at 10:10 local time.
The flight number ID-6288 departed from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at 11.00 local time. Then scheduled to arrive in Medan at 13.05 WIB. On the same occasion, Batik Air also increased the frequency of flying from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Banten, to Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur–Jakarta, flight number OD-316, departs from Kuala Lumpur at 07.50 local time and arrives in Jakarta at 08.50 WIB. Already in operation.
(5). Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur, flight number OD-349, departs from Jakarta at 14.00 WIB and arrives in Kuala Lumpur at 17.10 local time. Already in operation. (6). Kuala Lumpur-Jakarta, flight number OD-348, departs from Kuala Lumpur at 12.10 local time and arrives in Jakarta at 13.20 WIB. Already in operation.
