THE NEW fleet of Airbus A320 types officially strengthens PT Pelita Air Service (Pelita Air), the arrival of this aircraft is the eighth of 11 units that have been ordered in 2023.
According to the Main Director of Pelita Air, Dendy Kurniawan, in a press release in Jakarta, Tuesday (9/26), 2023, it is predicted that the ninth and 10th planes will arrive in Indonesia in the fourth week of October and the end of November 2023. This is the mandate from the government for Pelita Air is to continue to improve national air connectivity.
“The high level of public interest in using Pelita Air’s services is the main factor that encourages Masapai to continue to increase the number of its fleet. This is so that we can increase flight frequency and new flight routes,” he said.
He explained that public interest in Pelita Air is reflected in the high seat load factor in the third quarter of 2023, where from July 1 to September 24 it reached an average of 83%.
“Pelita Air, which is a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), always prioritizes providing the best service and comfort for passengers.
