EMIRATES airline has completed its latest IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) with zero finding or with a perfect score, which is rare in the aviation industry given the complexity of airline operations.
“Safety is one of Emirates’ core aspects, and we continue to invest in ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of safety from day one,” said Emirates Airline President Sir Tim Clark in an official broadcast, recently.
Tim Clark said the completion of the IOSA audit of Emirates with zero finding results was an important achievement, especially regarding the rapid increase in operations after the pandemic, and Emirates’ global network.
“All of this is the result of the hard work of our internal team and external partners who contribute to the security of every Emirates operation for thousands of passengers and cargo distribution around the world every day. We will continue to work hard and contribute to ensuring a safe and sustainable aviation industry,” continued Tim Clark.
Over 1,000 standards and recommended practices are reviewed over five days by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) – an accredited auditing organization. This audit aims to determine how well Emirates’ operational management systems comply with the IOSA Standard and Recommended Practices (ISARP).
With this audit report, Emirates has demonstrated the high standard of airline systems and processes to ensure safe operational practices and airworthiness of its modern fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380s.
Emirates promotes safety throughout the organization at all levels. The airline’s operational safety policies are consistently reviewed and adjusted to the highest standards when there are revisions to regulations or the introduction of new aircraft.
Emirates’ Compliance Monitoring team continuously audits the airline’s systems and practices across its network against IOSA standards to identify and address non-conformances.
Emirates Senior Executives are also briefed in regular management reviews on the airline’s compliance status to maintain safety and security levels in this dynamic industry. [antaranews/photo special]
