THE digital travel platform Agoda launches Agoda Special Offers (ASO) globally, followed by initial launches in key Asian markets. Agoda Special Offers products are supported with special landing pages in ten markets, and more than 1,700 hotels that are ready to fulfill customers’ desires for extra benefits during their stay.

Based on an Agoda customer survey, one of the factors that determine a customer’s decision in choosing a hotel is the added benefits, such as free room upgrades and early check-in. This is the second important factor after price.

Hotel partners can now easily offer these additional benefits on Agoda, as well as take advantage of the platform’s global reach to amplify promotions to reach a wider range of loyal Agoda customers.

Agoda Special Offers is the latest product developed under the GoLocal initiative to promote domestic travel. Hotel partners can register to offer exclusive and non-exclusive packages, with more benefits on their rooms, such as food and beverage vouchers, experiences in or around the hotel, as well as special offers for room upgrades.

Agoda’s comprehensive marketing campaign to support the launch of ASO will ensure partners enjoy higher exposure and click-throughs. With a special landing page that displays special offer packages on desktop and mobile, customers can easily access and browse various offers that suit their travel needs.

Accommodations that are joined with Agoda Special Offers will also be supported by optimization in various marketing channels, such as email marketing, public relations and social media.

According to Enric Casals, Regional Director Southeast Asia and Oceania, Agoda said, in the past year, tourists have begun to explore the domestic market again, remaining in the local area, and mostly staying in familiar places and hotels.

However, recently there has been a growing number of travelers who are passionate about self-care, self-indulgence and pleasure simply because they deserve it.

“These tourists are used to offers and have high expectations. They want to compare various accommodations in one place, and this is where we present Agoda Special Offers,” said Enric Casals.
